MS Dhoni was born on July 7, 1981, in Ranchi, Bihar (now Jharkhand), into a Hindu Rajput family. His father, Pan Singh, worked in junior management positions at MECON, a public sector undertaking. Dhoni has a brother named Narendra Singh Dhoni and a sister named
