2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Cricket Format

2024, is the 9th edition of the biggest cricket tournament and the USA along with the West Indies is the host of this year. This cricket tournament started on June 2nd and the final match is anticipated to occur on June 29th, 2024. 

We have tried to simplify the format of this tournament below for you.

Each squad will partake in four group games, one against all the other teams in the divided Group. 

The top two teams from each group advance to the Super 8 stage of the competition. 

The Super 8 teams will be divided into two groups, each with four clubs. 

The top two groups with the maximum points in each group will progress to the semifinals. 

This year's semi-finals are scheduled for June 26th and 27th.

The final match will take place on June 29, determining the overall winner of the title this year.

A squad will receive 2 points for each victory, 1 point for no outcome (if the game is canceled or wiped out due to weather), and 0 points for failure.
