As per the reports, A police complaint has been filed against Elvish Yadav, the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner, Youtuber for apparently taking pictures at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Complex.Is photography allowed in Kashi Vishwanath Temple?

Kashi Vishwanath Temple is a holy place for the Lord Shiva devotees. The use of a Camera, Mobile, or any other electronic digital watch is prohibited inside the complex of this temple. The devotees enter the temple bare-footed. A great strength of believers visit this holy place to take blessings of Indian lord Shiva. Recently, a police complaint has been filed against Elvish Yadav, for breaking the rules and clicking pictures inside this sacred place.

Who filed the complaint against Elvish Yadav?

Prateek Kumar Singh, a lawyer for the session courts in Varanasi, documented the complaint against Elvish Yadav. This complaint stressed the prohibition of the use of cameras or cell phones inside the temple complex as it was broken by Yadav. 

Prateek Kumar Singh stated:

"Despite the prohibition of mobile phones in the temple, he took photos with a mobile phone. We have submitted an application to the Joint CP regarding this matter and have ordered an immediate case to be registered against him."

When did Elvish visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple?

Elvish Yadav, the Youtuber, visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple on 26th July to offer prayers. He already had many other criminal cases running. Before this, he was presented before the Enforcement Directorate for the money laundering charges. He was also involved in the NOIDA Snake Venom Case. 

Latest Police Complaints Against Elvish Yadav 

Elvish Yadav was recently presented before the Enforcement Directorate for the money laundering charges. The ED asked him to provide all the legit documentation and Yadav was also questioned about his Youtube earning. 

After this interrogation, Elvish denied speaking with the media and claimed that the situation was under investigation. As per him, he did not want to make monotonous statements. 

What was the NOIDA Snake Venom Case?

Elvish Yadav was being investigated in the Noida Snake Venom case which was set back by the Noida Police back in March this year. In this case, 9 snakes (cobras) and a container filled with 20 milliliters of snake venom were discovered. 

The lawsuit was filed under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972 against Yadav & criminal conspiracy per 120B section in the Indian Penal Code. On an INR 50,000 bail bond, Yadav was released a week later. 

Who was Elvish Yadav’s Lawyer?

Prashant Rathi, Lawyer of Elvish Yadav, defended and said that Elvish was falsely accused and there are no such pieces of evidence or proof that show him or his associates as criminals.
