However, UP Warriorz made a surprise first bid at INR 2.2 crore and eventually won the bid for Deepti Sharma.
Deepti Sharma, who is just 25 years old, has been very successful as a T20I all-rounder in recent years. In fact, she is the only player to have scored more than 400 runs and taken more than 40 wickets in T20Is since 2021. Moreover, Deepti is also the second-highest T20I wicket-taker for India and needs just three more wickets to become the first Indian player to take 100 wickets in the shortest format of the game.

Sharma contributed an impressive 188 runs to this partnership.
