Who Announce Rs 125 Crore Prize Money for T20 World Cup 2024 Winners? 

Jay Shah, the secretary head of BCCI announced the news of this Prize money of Rs 125 crores using the social media channel on 30th June, 2024. 

Later on 8th July, a report by IndianExpress informed about the distribution of this prize money to the players. A BCCI source stated:

“Players and support staff have been informed about the amount of prize money they will be receiving from the BCCI and we have asked everyone to submit an invoice."

Jay Shah also mentioned while talking about this whopping prize money last week:

“As far as ₹125 crore is concerned, it will cover the players, support staff, coaches, and selectors as well. Everyone."

Rs 125 Crore T20 World Cup 2024 Prize Money Announced By BCCI Distribution

The Board of Cricket Council in India (BCCI) announced a huge prize money of Rs 125 crore to the Indian Cricket team for winning the title of ICC T20 Men’s World Cup 2024. After this T20 World Cup 2024 Eknath Shinde, Maharashtra’s CM also announced a prize money of Rs 11 crores for the Indian squad who won the World Cup against South Africa on June 29th (Saturday). • In 2013, India won the Champions Trophy under MS Dhoni’s captaincy, the BCCI gave Rs 1 Crore Prize Money to each player and Rs 30 Lakhs to each support staff member.
