Actor Govinda Suffers Bullet Injury as Revolver Misfires, Hospitalised

Govinda, the Indian Actor and politician, suffered a bullet injury on his leg in the early morning of the 1st of October (Tuesday). The 60-year-old celebrity misfired his licensed revolver. He was hurried to Criticare Hospital close to his Juhu home. He was wounded under the knee and admitted immediately to the critical care unit. The bullet was pulled out from his leg after an hour of surgery by doctors.

Govinda Misfired Revolver and Suffered Bullet Injury

Govinda, the actor and Shiv Sena Politician, unintentionally shot himself in his leg with his licensed revolver at 04:45 Am on 1st October (Tuesday), when he was leaving his house to get an early morning flight. 

All this happened when he was alone at home. The actor is now in a better condition as the bullet is taken out from his leg. Kriti Kumar, the brother of Govinda stated:

“While keeping his revolver in the locker it fell from his hand, however, he is also clueless about what exactly happened.”

As per Shashi Sinha, Govinda’s Manager, this sad incident occured when the Actor was preparing to leave for Kolkata. Govinda’s licensed revolver dropped from his hand and the bullet was fired. This caused injury in his leg under the knee. He was taken to the hospital after this mishap and the bullet was removed. 

What did the Doctor say?

Dr. Ramesh Agarwal, the one who performed the surgery on Govinda, mentioned that after the removal of the bullet, the condition of the actor was stable. The 60-year-old actor is still recovering in the hospital.

Govinda’s Audio Clip After Bullet Injury

Govinda landed in Mumbai, after a few hours after the bullet injury released an audio clip, and thanked his fans for their blessings. In a scratchy voice in the audio released, the actor-turned-politician thanked for the blessings of his fans, Guru, and parents who saved him, stated:

 "I was hit by a bullet, but it has been extracted. I thank the doctors here and your prayers."
