The Women's Premier League 2023 will be the first Indian Women's Twenty-Twenty cricket franchise. The competition framework is based on the Men's Indian Premier League (IPL), but is tailored to female cricketers. The Mumbai Indians (MI) are one of five teams competing in the competition. Reliance Industries Limited, an Indian multinational conglomerate, has purchased the rights to run the WPL Mumbai Team 2023.
