Delhi Capitals Captain in 2023

Rishabh Pant is a standout performer for the Indian cricket team. Rishabh Pant, the Indian wicket-keeper and Delhi Capitals captain who was wounded in a vehicle accident last December, is unlikely to participate in the next Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, while coach Ricky Ponting wants Pant to be around his squad and sit in the dugout with them.

Pant was critically injured in an automobile accident on December 30, 2022. He is projected to be out for the majority of this year. The accident damaged three main ligaments in his knee, two of which were operated on on January 7, 2023, and the third is due in February.

Uncapped Players in Delhi Capitals 2023

  • Mukesh Kumar - Rs 5.5 crore

After receiving interest from three franchises, Bengal seamer Mukesh Kumar signed his first IPL contract for a staggering Rs 5.5 crore. Mukesh has been sought by the Delhi Capitals since the initial increase in his Rs 20 lakh base price. DC ultimately defeated the Chennai Super Kings and the Punjab Kings to give Mukesh the hefty payday.

The 29-year-old was a net bowler for Delhi the previous season and he has made waves in the local format with Bengal, notably with the red ball. Mukesh was called up to the India A squad for the series against New Zealand A and Bangladesh A due to his previous exploits. Mukesh also came close to making his international debut after being picked to India's one-day international team against South Africa in October.
