India Announces Schedule to Host Australia, England and Afghanistan in 2023 - 2024

The BCCI announced on Tuesday (July 25th, 2023) that India will host Australia, Afghanistan, and England during the 2023–24 domestic tournament. 

India has 16 domestic international games planned, comprising five tests, three ODIs, and eight T20Is, along with hosting the ODI World Cup.

ODI Matches 2023

In order to help both sides improve their World Cup preparations, India will first host Australia during three One-Day Internationals. 

Mohali, Rajkot, and Indore will each host one of the three ODIs. The Dates Scheduled for these matches are September 22nd, September 24th, and September 27th, 2023.

Following the conclusion of the World Cup, the next series will restart with the two sides playing in a five-match T20I series.

The T20I Series is scheduled to start on November 23rd and it may end by December 3rd, 2023.

Vizag, Trivandrum, Guwahati, Nagpur, and Hyderabad will all host all these T20I games.

Following the series, India will play host to Afghanistan in their inaugural series of bilateral matches beginning on January 11, 2024, for three Twenty20 internationals. 

The series will be broadcast from Mohali, Indore, and Bengaluru and end on January 17th.

Then, for a significant series that will comprise five Test matches between the two teams, England will travel to India. 

The first Test of the series was scheduled for January 29th in Hyderabad, followed by next test matches in Vizag, Rajkot, Ranchi, and Dharamsala, with the final Test planned for March 11th.
