‘The Kerala Story’ Plot and Execution Review

It is a criminal drama story that revolves around the lives of three girls who are studying there and living in PG’s. They got trapped by ISIS and were brainwashed throughout the story and used as per the need by ISIS.

The three girls presented three choices anyone would have made if kept in the same position as they were.

• The first one was Geetanjali (Siddhi Idnani), she became the first one to face the worst as she denied to change her religion to Islam as per the story. Her private videos and images were spread on the internet by the Muslim boy she got paired with.

• The Second one was Nimah (Yogita Bihani) who right from the start was against the attempts made by the fourth roommate Asifa(Sonia Balani), who was involved with ISIS, to change the religion of these three girls. By the end she was shown as a victim of gangrape by many muslim boys. She somehow managed to run from their trap and  became the one to register an FIR against the people who ruined the life of these three girls.

• The final and the third one was Shalini/Fatima Ba (Adah Sharma), who suffered a lot as she was fully brainwashed by ISIS and taken to Syria. There she realized that she had been trapped but it was of no use. Then she was taken to the militant camp and there she was used as a sex slave.

As before moving ahead to Syria she was given map training, she managed to run away and got caught by the officials where she was shown in the starting narrating all the story to them.
