Sunrisers Hyderabad is a cricket team based in Hyderabad, India that plays in the Indian Premier League. The team was founded in 2012 after another Hyderabad-based team was terminated. The owner of the team is Kalanithi Maran of the SUN Group. The team is coached by Brian Lara and captained by Aiden Markram. Their home ground is the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad, which can hold up to 55,000 spectators.

The team reached the playoffs in their first IPL appearance in 2013 and finished in fourth place. In 2016, they won their first Indian Premier league  title by defeating the RCB by 8 runs in the final. Since then, the team has qualified for the playoff stage of the tournament every season. In 2018, they made it to the finals but lost to Chennai Super Kings.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is a medium-pacer who plays for the Sunrisers Hyderabad cricket team. He has taken a lot of wickets for the team and has been their main pace bowler in the past. He is expected to play a similar role this season as well. Bhuvneshwar has taken a total of 142 wickets, with his best figures being 5 wickets for 19 runs that he took against Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) in 2017. He is known for his ability to bowl accurately and swing the ball, which makes him a big threat to opening batsmen in the league.

• T. Natarajan

The Sunrisers Hyderabad cricket team has a left-arm medium-pacer from Tamil Nadu who is known for his bowling skills in the domestic T20 circuit. He has performed well for Tamil Nadu and has won many matches for them. He was picked up by Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) in 2017 and was the highest-paid uncapped Indian player at the time. However, he only managed to take 2 wickets in 6 games.

In the 2020 IPL, Natarajan had a breakthrough performance and took 16 wickets in 16 games. He was then called up to the T20I, ODI, and Test squads for India's tour of Australia. Unfortunately, he missed most of the 2021 IPL season due to an injury, playing just 2 games. In the 2022 season, he will be hoping to get back to his old form and take lots of wickets for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team.

• Umran Malik 

The Sunrisers Hyderabad cricket team has discovered a new fast-bowling talent called Umran Malik. He is just 21 years old but has already impressed with his smooth, clean bowling action and ability to bowl at 150 kmph with ease. He caught the attention of many people during one IPL season where he bowled to Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers. In November of the same year, he made his first-class debut for India A against South Africa A. The Sunrisers Hyderabad have recognized his potential and retained him in their squad along with Kane Williamson and Abdul Samad. However, he is still young and inexperienced and has a lot of room for improvement.

The 2022 IPL season will be a test for Umran Malik, and it will be interesting to see if he has improved since his last outing. With time, he is expected to get better and become a key player for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team.

Marco Jansen, a highly rated bowler from South Africa, caught the attention of the Mumbai Indians in the 2021 IPL auctions, and they bought him for a base price of INR 20 lakhs. Jansen had previously played for the South Africa U19 team on a tour to India in January 2019, and after a successful first-class season, he was selected to play for the South African team.

He has been able to bring the ball into the right-handed batsmen and swing it away from them. In the 2021 IPL, Farooqi was a net bowler for the Chennai Super Kings and impressed the team with his skillful bowling, including a mix of slower balls that made it difficult for batters to hit big shots. Farooqi has had a quick rise in the past two years, starting with his participation in the U-19 World Cup in South Africa in 2020.
