Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is a cricket franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The team was created in 2008, and its home games are held at the M. A. Chidambaram. 

India Cements Limited owns the team thru the Chennai Super Kings Cricket Ltd holding company. The team was suspended from the IPL for two years beginning in July 2015 due to its owner's involvement in the 2013 IPL betting case but won the title in its return season in 2018. MS Dhoni captains the team, which is managed by Stephen Fleming. Chennai Super Kings IPL 2023 Captain 

Mahendra Singh Dhoni will remain to captain the Chennai Super Kings in the 2019 IPL season. Dhoni will skipper the Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming IPL season, according to Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanathan. He verified the news on Sunday.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni led  the CSK team for 12 years. The club reached the IPL finals for the ninth time in nine seasons under the leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He coached Chennai Super Kings CSK in 190 games, leading them to 116 victories and a 61.37 win %.
