The Women's T20 Challenge, which began as a single-match tournament in 2018 and extended to a three-team, three-match competition in 2019, 2020, and 2022, was the WPL's precursor. The BCCI declared in October 2022 that they were exploring a five-team tournament in March 2023. The new event was previously called the Women's Indian Premier League before the BCCI officially renamed it the Women's Premier League on January 25, 2023. The rules of WPL is same as IPL every team having 25 player in total with 5 to 6 overseas players maximum So in this blog we are going to know how many many overseas women’s players will participate in WPL 2023.
