Arun Jaitley Stadium - Delhi

  • Famously known as Feroz Shah Kotla Ground, it is the oldest Indian International Cricket Stadium in India. This ground has a speciality that the Indian National Cricket team has never been defeated in test matches from 28 years and for ODI matches from over 10 years.

  • In 1983-84- Sunil Gavaskar scored his 29th century & broke the longest-standing record made by Don Bradman of the highest number of Hundreds in Test Cricket.
  • In 2005-06 Sachin tendulkar made his 35th century & broke the record of Gavaskar of making the most centuries.

Wankhede Stadium - Mumbai

  • It has presented multiple high-profile cricket matches. In 2011, India won the World Cup finals by defeating Sri Lanka and created the record of being a country that won the World Cup on the Home Soil.
  • The final match of Sachin tendulkar’s career was also hosted in this stadium and it has also hosted a match in which Ravi Shastri hitted six sixes in a single over.

M.A. Chidambaram Stadium - Chennai

  • It is the second oldest stadium in the list after the Eden Garden and was established in 1916. It was initially called Madras Cricket Club Ground & Chepauk Stadium.
  • In 1934, this stadium hosted its first-ever test match and the Indian cricket team’s first victory was in the same venue in 1952 against England.
