Ex-IPL Chief Lalit Modi Hospitalized, put on Oxygen Support

Lalit Modi, the former IPL Chief was hospitalized and is on eternal oxygen support for now. He said that he was detected with the infection of Covid twice in two weeks and after the profound pneumonia was suspected he was hospitalized.

What Happened to Lalit Modi?

Lalit Modi, former IPL Chairman, is admitted to hospital after the detection of a corona infection and Pneumonia attack. He is placed on the external oxygen support and all these details are shared by him on his Instagram handle.

Modi Tweeted on January 13th, 2023, Friday:

“After 3 weeks in confinement with a double Covid in 2 weeks accompanied by influenza and deep pneumonia-and post trying several times to leave. Finally landed via air ambulance accompanied by two doctors and a superstar super-efficient son who did so much for me back in London. The flight was smooth. Unfortunately, still on 24/7 external oxygen. Thank u to all at @Vistajet for going the extra mile. I am extremely grateful to all. Love to all. Big hug.”

He also shared via Instagram that he was brought from Mexico to London after three weeks of imprisonment.

In this time, going through several crucial health conditions, Ladit Modi does not forget to pay gratitude towards the doctors in his service. He shared another post for them where he wrote about the two doctors (mentioned them as saviors) who took care of his health.

“With my two saviours. The two Drs seriously for 3 weeks monitored me treated. Me 24/7. 1 Mexico City based whose care I was under and the second my London Dr who specifically flew in to Mexico City to accompany me back to London. I have no words to describe of they sacrificed there time etc to get me out. Still need time to recover. Currently on 24/7 external oxygen,”

 He further added:

“I was I thought touch and go. But my children and thief friends and my close friend @harish_salve_ who were all with me 2 out of my three weeks fully by my side. They are all my family and part of me. God bless. Jai hind. Not to forget the @vistajet crew. Who were better then par excellence. Thank u my friend @thomasflohrvista,”

Modi has made his relationship with Sushmita Sen, the bollywood actress, official via social media last year. He wrote a note and an array of photos. Although they both haven’t been spotted together much after this official announcement of their relationship. This led their fans to various speculations.
