LLC AUCTION

The auction for Legends League Cricket 2024 is scheduled for 29th August this year in New Delhi. This cricket tournament will witness over 200 players will take part in the auction with the teams trying their best to secure the most talented players. 

Some of the notable names of Indian cricketers are Shikhar Dhawan and Dinesh Karthik, who are all set to perform in this tournament. The former will be the point of attraction for many as he recently took retirement. 

The latter was last seen performing for RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) in the IPL 2024 and is expected to be the captain of Southern Super Stars in the Legends League Cricket 2024. 

LLC START & END DATE

The third season of Legends League Cricket in 2024 will start on 20th September and may end by 16th October this year. It is a T20 tournament that brings retired cricket players from around the world to reconnect with their fans and be back on the field.

The matches of LLC 2024 will start from Jodhpur at Barkatullah Khan Stadium on 20th September this year. Then on 27th September, it will make its way to Surat’s Lalbhai Contractor Stadium. From 6th October, the third leg will be played in Jammu’s Maulana Azad Stadium. The final matches are scheduled for Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium from 10 October 2024.

How many matches will be Played in LLC 2024?

25 Matches will be played among 6 teams and the final standing 2 teams will play against each other on 16th October. It is a franchise-based tournament and will be played across 4 cities - Jodhpur, Surat, and Jammu and it will bring cricket back to Srinagar after 4 decades.

Legends League Cricket Venue 2024

There are three main venues opted for the Legends League Cricket 2024. 

• The start of the tournament will take place in Jodhpur’s Barkatullah Khan Stadium. 
• Following this, the further matches will be played in Lalbhai Contractor  Stadium, Surat. 
• Finally, the concluding matches will be played in Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium, Jammu.

Legends League Cricket has a huge fan following. In its last se   ason, a grand following of 189 Million people across India was observed.
