On 18th July, various party leaders gathered in Bengaluru for meetings. The opposition announced their new alliance namely 'I-N-D-I-A', while the ruling NDA held a meeting with its 38 coalition partners, held in the presence of  Prime Minister Modi.

NDA leaders dismiss the opposition's alliance, asserting their unity to preserve self-respect. BJP leaders criticize the opposition's coalition, claiming it consists of 26 prime ministerial faces, indicating instability.

Conclusion

The upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections present potential challenges for the BJP due to the unity displayed by the opposition. At the same time, the NDA, led by Prime Minister Modi, is asserting its formidable presence. The prospects are intriguing as we observe how the alliance called 'I-N-D-I-A,' with its united front, will contend against the BJP in the forthcoming elections or whether internal disagreements within the alliance may lead to its dissolution before facing the BJP on the electoral battlefield
