Tarek Fatah, a Pakistani-Canadian reporter and novelist, died on Monday suffering a long battle with cancer, his daughter Natasha Fatah revealed on social media. Fatah, who was born on November 20, 1949, in Karachi, Pakistan, had emigrated to Canada in 1987. Throughout his career, he had established himself as a respected reporter, columnist, author, and television commentator.
