Sushant Singh Rajput was an Indian actor who had a successful career in both television and Bollywood. Born on January 21, 1986, in Patna, Bihar, he began his television career in 2008 with the series "Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil," where he played the role of Preet Juneja.

However, it was his portrayal of Manav Deshmukh in the popular soap opera "Pavitra Rishta" (2009-2011) that made him a household name and won him several awards.

In 2013, Sushant made his Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor's "Kai Po Che!," based on Chetan Bhagat's novel "The 3 Mistakes of My Life." He played the character of Ishaan Bhatt, and his performance received critical acclaim, earning him a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
