Virat Kohli has equaled Sachin Tendulkar's record of 20 ODI centuries

The most recent news from the Cricket World is that the most stylish and celebrated Cricketer, Virat Kohli has set another record of slamming 20 ODI Centuries on the home soil. He is compared to Sachin Tendulkar as, Tendulkar has completed it in 160 innings and Kohli only took 99 innings to score this.

• Cricket is a worldwide loved game, and it has its own records and specialities. On January 10th, 2023 (Tuesday), Virat Kohli, former captain of the Indian Cricket team, equalled the well-known batsman Sachin Tendulkar in his record of 20 ODI Centuries on the home soil. 
• Virat, yesterday, completed a score of 100 in just 80 balls against Sri Lanka in the first match of the 3-match series. He scored a total of 113 runs in just 87 balls.

• Although Sachin Tendulkar has made the similar record that Virat Kohli had made yesterday, there was a slight difference in their records. Kohli only took  a total of 99 innings to score his 20th One Day International’s Century on home ground, on the other hand , Tendulkar did the same in a total of 160 innings.
• Virat Kohli has a total of 73 centuries now in his account from all formats in Cricket which includes 45 ODI Centuries,27 test centuries and one T20 century. This record is second to Sachin Tendulkar who has 100 centuries as total in his account.
• Virat has exceeded Sachin in his record of most ODI hundreds against Sri Lanka. Sachin Tendulkar has a total of 8 centuries against Sri Lanka and Virat Kohli after yesterday, has a total of  9 centuries against Sri Lanka.
