Rishabh Pant Receives 16 Crore Even If he will not present in ipl 2023 matches
Although it is confirmed that Pant will not be able to take part in IPL 2023 scheduled from March 2023, he will definitely get 16 crores as an IPL fee. Pant was selected as the captain of the Delhi Capitals IPL team.
Another news is also confirmed that BCCI will also give 5 Crores to Pant as per his contract. This player is also not going to take part in the ODI World Cup scheduled in October,2023 and the Asia Cup scheduled in June to July, 2023.
As per the BCCI rule if any player is unable to play IPL due to some valid reason, the player is going to get the full payment amount despite his absence in the league. Saurabh Ganguly Confirms that Rishabh Pant Will Miss IPL 2023
Saurav Ganguly, the future Director of the Delhi Capitals IPL team and the former BCCI president, has confirmed that Rishabh Pant is going to miss the league of IPL 2023 due to his injuries from the car accident that took place in Uttarakhand.
Ganguly said by Broadcaster Sports Today:
“Rishabh Pant will not be available for the IPL,”
He added:
“It will be a great IPL (for the team), we will do well, but Rishabh Pant’s injury will affect the Delhi Capitals,”
on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023.
It is confirmed by a BCCI source that:
“Rishabh Pant has successfully undergone knee ligament surgery on Friday. He will be under observation. Further course of action and rehabilitation will be advised by Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala and followed by the BCCI sports science and medicine team,” .
Pant has 2 ligament tears on his right knee and 2 cuts on his forehead and he underwent a knee surgery at Mumbai hospital.

It was previously not confirmed but no, as Saurav gangualy’s (Former BCCI president and about to be director) said, it is confirmed that Rishabh Pant is not going to recover from the injuries till March, 2023, leading to him missing the tournament this year.
