India Announced Squad for Sri Lanka Tour T20I and ODI Series: Players List Captain Coach

The Indian squad is announced for the T20I and ODI Sri Lanka Tour and in this blog, we have mentioned all the details about this appointed squad. Suryakumar will lead the team at T20I and Rohit Sharma will return as the ODI captain in this series. Indian Squad List for Sri Lanka Tour 2024 Updated

The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) has announced the schedule for the Indian Team’s tour of Sri Lanka for the T20I matches and the ODI matches. The Indian National team will reach Sri Lanka on 22nd July (Monday) for this tour. It was scheduled to start on 26th July (Friday) and it is expected to finalize by 7th August (Wednesday) this year. 

• Now, the team has been confirmed for this white-ball series. Harshit Rana and Riyan Parag are debuting for India ODI matches. On 18th July (Thursday), BCCI announced the 15-player teams for both ODI and T20I matches. 
• After winning the ICC T20 Men’s World Cup 2024 as a skipper, Rohit Sharma will be back to lead the ODI team with Shubhman Gill assisting him as a vice-captain. 
• Riyan Parag has made a place in the ODI matches at the place of Sanju Samson who is excluded from the ODI matches.  Samson scored a century in his ODI vs South Africa in December 2023. 
• Avesh Khan has missed out on both the squads for this series. Gambhir will lead the team as the Head Coach. Jasprit Bumrah will also be on rest during this series.
